Key Responsibilities :
- Incident response for production hosted environments.
- Monitor and support production systems; resolve incidents and perform root cause analysis.
- Support and execute deployments and configuration changes in production and non-production environments following change management processes.
- Coordinate between operations, business teams, delivery teams, and external vendors facilitate service restoration and delivery.
- Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, fixes, and operational procedures while identifying opportunities for process improvement.
Skills and Competencies :
- IT degree, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience supporting enterprise application environments.
- Solid understanding of DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering practices.
- Working knowledge of SDLC principles and methodologies.
- Prior experience with Enterprise Disaster Recovery, backup processes, and system patching.
- Proficiency working with ITIL based processes and systems.
- Understanding of infrastructure hosted on GCP.
- A passion for continuous improvement.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex application, database, and system integrations.
- Monitoring system and application health and alerts.
- Flexibility in working arrangements.
- Team player and a can-do attitude.
- Strong problem solving and communication skills.
Technical Skills :
- Proficiency in C#, Python, Bash/Shell, and MS SQL development and debugging.
- Experience with ODBC, SPAN RPC, ASP, JBOSS, and .NET services/applications.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Elastic, LogicMonitor, Dynatrace.
- Experience with ServiceNOW, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Understanding of application debugging using Visual Studio and log analysis.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins, GitHub, SonarQube, NexusIQ.
- Unix and Windows Server experience.
Desirable Skills (Nice to have) :
- Exposure to Bravura products or similar Superannuation technology stacks and architecture.
- Experience working with Control-M or other batch scheduling systems.
- Experience working with Launch Darkly or similar feature enablement/release platforms.
- Awareness of evolving enterprise application architectures and integration patterns.
