Role Overview:

We are looking for an Automation Support Engineer to join our team. You will act as a single point of accountability for assigned automations, investigating incidents and implementing fixes using AI-assisted tools.

Key Responsibilities:

- Investigate incidents using logs, control room data, and process design artefacts.

- Triage issues, distinguishing process defects from infrastructure or data root causes.

- Utilize AI coding assistants and LLM APIs to accelerate investigation and maintain automation workflows.

- Design and deploy minor changes to existing automations following Blueprism best practices.

- Manage incidents through to resolution, maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.

- Ensure compliance with security, data privacy, and ethical AI guardrails.

Required Skills & Experience:

- Production support experience within enterprise environments.

- Experience in DevOps, CoE, or Full Stack teams.

- Strong understanding of infrastructure concepts (servers, networking, access).

- Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants, LLM APIs, or open-source AI frameworks.

- Familiarity with Playwright (web) and FlaUI (desktop) frameworks.

- Excellent stakeholder communication and incident management skills.

Desirable Skills:

- Exposure to AI agents and cloud-based AI ecosystems (AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI).

- Experience with Blue Prism Enterprise (v7.x).

- SQL Server support experience.

- Financial services or regulated environment experience.
