Role Summary : Deep, hands-on expertise across Odoo 16, 17, and 18, covering both Enterprise and Community editions. The architect will lead solution design, technical governance, and delivery across backend, frontend, integrations, and business processes.

Core Expertise :

Odoo Versions & Editions :

- Expert in Odoo 16-18.

- Expert in both Odoo Community (CE) and Enterprise (EE) architecture, features, licensing differences, and module behaviors.

Architecture & System Design :

- Strong in modular architecture, domain modeling, multi-company/multi-branch setups, scalability, performance tuning, and secure design patterns.

Business Domain Knowledge :

- Advanced understanding of business workflows across Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Manufacturing, Accounting, HR, Projects, CRM, and industry-specific use cases.

Backend Engineering :

- Expert-level Python, ORM, business logic, scheduled jobs, server actions, module development, refactoring, and code optimization.

Frontend & OWL Framework :

- Advanced OWL experience for Odoo 16+ frontends.

- Strong QWeb, XML, HTML, JS, SCSS, and responsive UI customization.

POS Development :

- Expert in Odoo POS framework, IoT integrations, payment terminals, offline flows, custom receipts, and hardware integrations.

Integrations :

- Proven experience with REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, middleware, and cross-platform integrations.

- Payment provider integrations (Stripe, Adyen, Razorpay, PayPal, etc.).

DevOps & Deployment :

- CI/CD (Odoo SH, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).

- Docker, Kubernetes, Nginx, SSL, reverse proxying.

- Production monitoring, log analysis, backups, disaster recovery.

Accounting Expertise :

- Expert in Odoo Accounting, fiscal configurations, reconciliation flows, GST/VAT localization, journal architecture, assets, and financial controls.

Performance & Security :

- Code reviews, security audits, DB tuning, profiling, caching, load optimization.

Leadership & Delivery :

- Lead developers, define coding standards, conduct code reviews, oversee end-to-end implementation, and run architecture workshops with stakeholders.

Responsibilities Summary :

- Translate business requirements into well-architected Odoo solutions (CE + EE).

- Design and validate technical architecture for medium/large Odoo implementations.

- Guide engineering teams, enforce best practices, and ensure solution quality.

- Manage backend, frontend, POS, and integration-heavy development.

- Lead DevOps pipelines, deployment architecture, and production readiness.

- Collaborate with functional teams to ensure accurate requirement mapping.

- Conduct architectural audits, performance reviews, and risk assessments.
