Job Description

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with proven expertise in GitHub to GitLab migration, strong hands-on skills in Python programming, AWS, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices. The ideal candidate will play a key role in modernizing our CI/CD pipelines, improving cloud infrastructure, and ensuring high system reliability and scalability.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and execute migration from GitHub to GitLab, including CI/CD pipeline setup, repository restructuring, and integrations.

- Design, implement, and manage scalable AWS cloud infrastructure.

- Develop automation tools and scripts using Python to streamline deployment and operational tasks.

- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines ensuring high-quality software delivery.

- Apply SRE principles (monitoring, observability, incident response, performance tuning, SLAs/SLOs) to improve system reliability.

- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth releases and high availability of services.

- Ensure best practices in infrastructure as code (IaC), configuration management, and security compliance.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 7+ years of experience in DevOps / SRE roles.

- Proven track record of GitHub to GitLab migration projects.

- Strong programming/scripting skills in Python.

- Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS/EKS, etc.).

- Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, automation, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Deep understanding of SRE concepts, monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch), and incident management.

- Experience with IaC tools (Terraform/CloudFormation/Ansible).

- Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Good to Have :

- Certifications in AWS, GitLab, or Kubernetes.

- Exposure to multi-cloud environments.

- Experience with security and compliance in DevOps.
