About the Role :

Squareshift is seeking a highly skilled Java AWS Microservices Engineer to join our dynamic development team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and deploy scalable microservices, work extensively with AWS cloud services, and ensure seamless infrastructure automation using Terraform.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop scalable, secure Java-based microservices using Spring Boot.

- Deploy, manage, and optimize cloud-native applications on AWS.

- Build and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) modules using Terraform for automated provisioning and environment management.

- Collaborate effectively with onsite and offshore teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, code reviews, and sprint planning.

- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues across production and staging environments.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.

- Strong expertise in AWS services, cloud architecture, and best practices.

- Practical, production-level experience using Terraform for IaC.

- Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and REST API development.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.

Nice to Have :

- Basic understanding of Kafka, messaging queues, or event-driven architecture.

- Experience with additional cloud automation or monitoring tools.
