Responsibilities :

- Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions using MS SQL Server (SSMS).

- Troubleshoot and migrate business logic from PL/SQL to T-SQL where necessary.

- Perform query performance tuning and optimization to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.

- Design and maintain database objects ensuring data integrity and security.

- Develop ETL workflows to support data integration and transformation needs.

- Collaborate with Database Administrators, Analysts, and Operations teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

- Support process improvement and automation initiatives related to database development.

- Understand relational data models and contribute to database design and documentation.

Requirements :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

- Minimum 3 years of professional experience as an SQL Developer or in data storage and management roles.

- Strong proficiency with MS SQL Server platform and environment, including SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).

- In-depth knowledge of SQL Tables, data types, stored procedures, views, functions, and T-SQL programming.

- Ability to understand PL/SQL and translate/troubleshoot logic into T-SQL.

- Experience in query performance tuning and optimization.

- Exposure to ETL workflow development and data integration processes.

- Familiarity with relational data models and database design tools is an advantage.

- Experience with process improvement and automation in database development is a plus.

- Excellent teamwork and communication skills with the ability to work cooperatively with various teams.
