SQL Developer - Azure/SSIS

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Developer to play a pivotal role in our small, agile development team. Reporting directly to the Tech Lead, you will take ownership of maintaining, enhancing, and crucially, documenting our core data integration processes built primarily on SQL Server/Azure SQL and SSIS.

Your deep technical expertise will be essential in ensuring the reliability, performance, and maintainability of these critical systems, managed within our Azure DevOps environment. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact, solidify our backend foundations, and potentially grow into a technical leadership position. You'll work closely with the Tech Lead and our Mobile/Frontend Developer to ensure seamless data flow and support our key applications.

Roles & Responsibility :

- Lead the effort in comprehensively documenting existing SSIS/SQL based data integrations and interfaces, transforming implicit knowledge into clear, maintainable resources for the team and future development. (Initial focus area)

- Maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot complex SQL Server/Azure SQL databases, including writing efficient T-SQL (stored procedures, functions, queries).

- Develop, deploy, and maintain robust SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages for various data transformation and loading tasks.

- Optimize database performance and integration workflows.

- Develop and maintain C# ASP.NET Web API endpoints to efficiently surface data to our mobile application.

- Maintain and update existing RDLC reports used for generating PDF documents from database data.

- Collaborate closely with the Tech Lead and Mobile/Frontend Developer to understand requirements and ensure effective end-to end solutions.

- Contribute to identifying areas for improvement and proposing technical solutions.

Years of experience :

- 6-8 years of experience relevant experience

Educational Qualification :

- An graduation in engineering

Skill sets required :

Mandatory :

- Deep expertise in SQL Server / Azure SQL (T-SQL, performance tuning, design).

- Experience building and maintaining C# ASP.NET Web APIs.

- Proficiency with Git and Azure DevOps Repos.

- Exceptional written English for producing high-quality technical documentation.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Self-starter capable of taking ownership in a small team.

- Minimum 5+ years relevant backend experience.

Desirable Skills & Experience :

- Experience with Azure Function Apps and/or Azure Logic Apps.

- Working knowledge of Azure Pipelines (CI/CD concepts and usage).

- Broader experience within the Azure cloud ecosystem.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with or understanding of Google Flutter.
