The opportunity ahead:

As a QA Release Engineer II, you will own quality across the release lifecycle, from regression testing and test planning to release validation and deployment support.

How You'll Help Us Build:

- Perform Regression and support release and deployments.

- Monitor and troubleshoot release-related issues, working closely with Development and Operations teams.

- Develop and maintain documentation related to the release process.

- Design, develop and execute Test Case, Test Scenario and Test plans for Spotnana services and applications.

- Analyze Functional and non-functional requirements and design test scenarios.

- Execute and Analyze test results in order to report defects and discrepancies found.

- Define and monitor quality assurance metrics for continuous quality & process improvements.

- Estimating efforts, identifying risks, devising mitigation, and meeting release schedules.

- Communicating clearly with stakeholders regarding progress, roadblocks, and timelines.

- Make recommendations to enhance existing test suites and test cases for future regression.

- Analyze manual test cases and functional specifications in order to evaluate the potential automation.

- Focussed on removing manual dependencies and innovating new methods to optimize testing cycles.

- Analyze automation scripts results for functional issues and/or automation issues.

- Leading by example and keeping enthusiasm high in tight-deadline situations.

- Work closely with management to identify risks, solve problems, and maintain progress.

Experience You Bring:

- Bachelor's or Masters in Computer Science or equivalent with 4 - 7 years of relevant experience.

- Good knowledge of Software development life cycle and Test life cycle.

- Experience working in Scrum teams.

- Expertise validating Web-Application and Web-Services.

- Excellent understanding of the REST APIs, Postman, micro-services, and blue-green setups.

- Expert-level knowledge of CI/CD processes and release management.

- Strong understanding of release planning, execution, deployment strategies, and release governance.

- Hands-on experience with test automation and automation frameworks.

- Experience with Test Management tools (TestRail) and Project Management (JIRA).

- Experience with Version control systems (Git) and Ops tools (Harness, Jenkins).

- Experience in testing related to Travel Domain (Air/Hotel/Car/Rail booking applications).
