Role Overview :

As a Splunk Developer at Sysmind Tech, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Splunk solutions to meet the evolving security and operational needs of our clients. You will collaborate closely with security analysts, system administrators, and other stakeholders to build robust and scalable Splunk environments. Your work will directly contribute to improving our clients' threat detection capabilities, incident response efficiency, and overall security posture.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain Splunk applications and dashboards to provide real-time visibility into security events and operational metrics.

- Design and implement data ingestion pipelines to collect, parse, and index data from various sources into Splunk.

- Create and optimize SPL searches to identify security threats, anomalies, and performance issues.

- Configure and manage Splunk Enterprise Security to enhance threat detection and incident response capabilities.

- Integrate Splunk with other security tools and platforms to create a comprehensive security ecosystem.

- Develop and maintain Splunk Data Models to facilitate efficient data analysis and reporting.

- Collaborate with security analysts to understand their requirements and translate them into effective Splunk solutions.

- Provide technical guidance and support to junior Splunk developers.

- Ensure the performance, scalability, and security of Splunk environments.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and implement Splunk solutions in complex enterprise environments.

- Proven expertise in writing and optimizing SPL searches for security monitoring and incident investigation.

- Strong understanding of Splunk Enterprise Security and its capabilities.

- Experience with integrating Splunk with various data sources, including logs, network traffic, and security tools.

- Familiarity with LDAP and other authentication mechanisms.

- Ability to develop and maintain Splunk Data Models.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- 7-10 years of experience as a Splunk Developer.
