Role : Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain ETL data pipelines to support business reporting and analytics.

- Work with structured and unstructured data across different sources and formats.

- Support the implementation and optimization of cloud-based data platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).

- Partner with analysts and data scientists to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

- Monitor data quality, identify gaps, and implement solutions for data reliability.

- Document workflows, processes, and data dictionaries for smooth knowledge transfer.

- Continuously learn and adopt best practices in data engineering.

Qualifications & Skills :

Must Have :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- 24 years of hands-on experience in data engineering or backend development.

- Proficiency in SQL and working knowledge of Python (or Scala/Java).

- Experience with data pipeline tools (Airflow, Luigi, Prefect, etc.).

- Familiarity with cloud data services (AWS Redshift, BigQuery, Azure Synapse, or Snowflake).

- Exposure to distributed data systems (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka).

- Understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts.

Good to have :

- Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, or DevOps practices.

- Exposure to BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).

- Previous experience in a product/startup environment.

- Interest in learning MLOps or advanced analytics integrations.
