Somani Technologies - Cloud Engineer - AWS/Azure

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, deploy, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Build and manage cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM/Bicep templates.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and configuration management using CI/CD pipelines.

- Implement cloud networking components including Virtual Networks (VNet/VPC), Load Balancers, VPNs, Firewalls, DNS, and CDN services.

- Manage compute, storage, database, and networking services within cloud environments.

- Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, optimize resource utilization, and recommend cost-saving strategies.

- Configure and maintain Kubernetes clusters and Docker-based containerized applications.

- Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline software deployment and release processes.

- Implement cloud security best practices including IAM, RBAC, encryption, secrets management, and compliance controls.

- Perform backup, disaster recovery, and high availability planning for cloud workloads.

- Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and application deployment issues across cloud environments.

- Configure monitoring, logging, and alerting using cloud-native and third-party monitoring tools.

- Support migration of on-premises applications and infrastructure to cloud platforms.

- Ensure cloud environments comply with organizational security, governance, and operational standards.

- Prepare technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks.

- Participate in architecture reviews, incident response, and production support activities.
