Solutions Architect - Medallion Architecture

Key Responsibilities :

Architecture & Delivery :

- Design, architect, and deliver cloud-based data solutions leveraging Medallion Architecture.

- Lead implementation of data lakes and cloud data platforms on Snowflake or Databricks.

- Ensure end-to-end solution integrity including performance, scalability, and security.

- Align architecture and delivery with business goals, future growth, and operational excellence.

Cloud Platform Expertise :

- Lead AWS cloud implementations including services related to data storage, compute, and orchestration.

- Deep knowledge of Snowflake, Databricks, and integration with various AWS services.

Pre-Sales & Client Engagement :

- Participate actively in pre-sales activitiesowning RFP/RFQ responses, client presentations, and proposal development.

- Prepare comprehensive and persuasive Statements of Work (SOW) and Solution Overviews (SOA).

- Define solution architecture, resourcing needs, pricing strategies, and delivery timelines during pre-sales phases.

Scoping & Estimation :

- Own end-to-end solutioning, including defining technical strategy, architecture, and deployment plans.

- Collaborate with internal teams to scope resources, delivery timelines, and commercials/pricing models.

- Contribute to bid management, client workshops, and POCs as needed.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications :

- Domain expertise in Retail or Automotive is mandatory.

- Proven experience designing and delivering solutions using Medallion Architecture.

- Hands-on experience in implementing data lakes using Snowflake or Databricks on AWS.

- Strong knowledge of AWS architecture and services, particularly in data and analytics.

- Demonstrated success in pre-sales, including responding to RFPs/RFQs, client solutioning, and writing SOWs/SOAs.

- Strong experience with:

- Cloud-native architecture

- Data pipeline orchestration

- Data modeling and governance

- Security best practices in cloud deployments

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Certifications in AWS, Snowflake, or Databricks are a plus.

- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to lead technical teams and manage large, multi-phase data projects.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and enterprise delivery frameworks.
