Role Overview:

As a Solution Architect - Linux Platform & Virtualization, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing robust and scalable Linux-based solutions and virtualization environments for our clients. You will collaborate closely with clients, project managers, and engineering teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the stability, security, and performance of critical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and architect Linux-based solutions, including server infrastructure, operating systems, and related services, to meet client requirements.

- Develop and implement virtualization strategies using technologies like VMware, KVM, or Hyper-V to optimize resource utilization and improve system agility.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and document technical specifications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.

- Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams during the implementation and deployment phases, ensuring adherence to architectural standards.

- Troubleshoot complex issues related to Linux platforms and virtualization environments, providing timely and effective resolutions to minimize downtime.

- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance the performance, security, and scalability of Linux and virtualization infrastructure.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including architectural diagrams, configuration guides, and operational procedures.

- Conduct performance analysis and capacity planning to ensure the infrastructure can meet current and future demands.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to design and implement complex Linux-based solutions, including server infrastructure, operating systems, and related services.

- Proven expertise in virtualization technologies such as VMware, KVM, or Hyper-V, with the ability to design and manage virtualized environments.

- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, and firewalls, to ensure secure and reliable communication within the infrastructure.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, project managers, and engineering teams.

- Ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions in a timely manner.

- Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation and configuration management.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
