Solution Architect - Java/Spring Boot

We are seeking a visionary Solution Architect with deep expertise in Java-based enterprise systems to drive architecture strategy across our fintech platforms. You will design secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions for digital banking, payment gateways, lending platforms, and real-time transaction systems, ensuring compliance, resilience, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect end-to-end fintech solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Kafka, ensuring high availability, low latency, and real-time processing.

- Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, GDPR, and other financial regulations.

- Lead modernization of legacy banking systems into cloud-native architectures.

- Define integration strategies with core banking, payment processors, and KYC/AML engines.

- Drive adoption of API-first, event-driven, and secure-by-design principles.

- Collaborate with product, compliance, and engineering teams to align technology with business goals.

- Present architectural decisions and trade-offs to C-suite and regulatory stakeholders.

- Conduct architecture reviews, risk assessments, and performance audits.

- Mentor engineering teams on fintech-specific design patterns and secure coding practices.

- Champion DevSecOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 15+ years in software development, with 5+ years in solution architecture.

- Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and microservices architecture.

- Experience with real-time transaction systems, digital wallets, or payment gateways.

- Strong knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, and event-driven architectures.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Understanding of OAuth2, JWT, SSO, and data encryption standards.

- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in regulated environments.

- Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Extras :

- Experience with core banking systems, UPI, NEFT/RTGS, or BNPL platforms.

- Knowledge of regulatory tech (RegTech) and risk modeling frameworks.

- Certifications : AWS Solution Architect, TOGAF, Certified Fintech Architect (preferred).
