About the Role :

We are looking for a highly experienced L3 Solution Architect IT Infrastructure to lead enterprise infrastructure architecture, governance, cloud strategy, and operational excellence within a banking environment. The ideal candidate should possess deep expertise in designing secure, scalable, and compliant infrastructure solutions while driving cloud adoption, automation, security, and infrastructure modernization initiatives. The role requires strong technical leadership, stakeholder management, and hands-on experience across cloud platforms, virtualization, identity management, disaster recovery, and banking compliance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities :

Infrastructure Architecture & Strategy :

- Design and implement secure, scalable, and highly available enterprise infrastructure solutions.

- Define infrastructure roadmaps, technology standards, lifecycle management, and capacity planning.

- Drive infrastructure transformation and modernization initiatives aligned with business goals.

- Lead architecture reviews and recommend best practices for performance, scalability, and security.

Cloud & Platform Management :

- Architect and manage multi-cloud environments across AWS, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and Microsoft Azure.

- Develop cloud governance frameworks, security controls, and cost optimization strategies.

- Lead cloud migration and hybrid cloud transformation initiatives.

- Ensure cloud infrastructure adheres to banking security and compliance requirements.

Identity & Collaboration Services :

- Manage and optimize Active Directory, Azure AD, Identity Governance, and Access Management.

- Oversee Office 365 administration, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and related services.

- Implement identity security, privileged access management, and access governance controls.

Virtualization, Backup & Disaster Recovery :

- Lead enterprise virtualization environments using VMware and Nutanix.

- Design and maintain robust backup and disaster recovery strategies.

- Ensure business continuity through periodic DR drills and recovery testing.

- Manage enterprise backup solutions such as Veeam, Commvault, or equivalent technologies.

Governance, Compliance & Security :

- Ensure adherence to RBI guidelines, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, and banking regulatory requirements.

- Drive infrastructure security hardening, vulnerability remediation, and risk mitigation initiatives.

- Support internal, external, and regulatory audits.

- Establish governance frameworks for patch management, monitoring, and operational controls.

Operational Leadership :

- Act as the highest escalation point for critical infrastructure incidents (P1/P2).

- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and preventive action planning.

- Define and monitor SLAs, KPIs, operational metrics, and service improvement initiatives.

- Lead and mentor L1/L2 infrastructure teams and external vendors.

Automation & Optimization :

- Implement automation using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Infrastructure-as-Code tools.

- Improve operational efficiency through automation and process standardization.

- Drive infrastructure cost optimization and resource utilization initiatives.

Ideal Candidate Profile :

- 12 to 15 years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure.

- Strong experience in Banking, Financial Services, or highly regulated industries.

- Proven track record in designing and managing large-scale enterprise infrastructure environments.

- Experience leading infrastructure teams and managing mission-critical environments.

- Strong understanding of cloud transformation, security, governance, and compliance frameworks.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
