Solution Architect - GDPR Compliance

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the architectural design of a GDPR-compliant data solution that supports both legacy systems and strategic data sources.

- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather and validate data privacy and retention requirements.

- Translate business and compliance needs into detailed, scalable, and sustainable technical architecture.

- Design, document, and present comprehensive solution designs to enterprise architecture and governance forums.

- Work in partnership with data engineering teams to implement the end-to-end GDPR solution, ensuring quality and compliance.

- Provide support during testing, validation, and deployment phases.

- Ensure the final solution aligns with enterprise architecture standards and regulatory guidelines.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 1420 years of overall IT experience with a minimum of 5+ years in solution architecture roles.

- Strong background in Data Architecture and designing complex enterprise data systems.

- Proven experience in GDPR compliance projects and data retention policy implementation.

- Excellent stakeholder management and requirement gathering capabilities.

- Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively articulate architecture decisions to technical and non-technical audiences.

- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including business, data engineering, legal/compliance, and enterprise architecture.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience working on regulatory compliance initiatives (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).

- Knowledge of modern data platforms and tools (e.g., Snowflake, Azure Data Lake, Google BigQuery, etc.) is a plus.

- TOGAF certification or similar is a plus.
