Role Overview :

- Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases based on user stories or requirements.

- Lead automation strategy, frameworks, and CI/CD integration.

- Mentor junior testers and ensure adherence to test best practices.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality software delivery.

- Document test results, report defects, and maintain test artifacts.

Key Responsibilities :

Test Design & Execution :

- Construct test scenarios and systematic test cases.

- Perform smoke, regression, functional, and integration testing.

- Identify, log, track, and retest defects.

Automation & Framework Development :

- Design and maintain reusable test automation frameworks.

- Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines.

- Optimize test scripts and frameworks for efficiency.

Leadership & Team Management :

- Guide and mentor a small team of testers.

- Conduct performance evaluations and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Collaboration & Reporting :

- Work with developers, QA, and business teams to clarify requirements.

- Provide test reporting, metrics, and status updates to stakeholders.

Process & Quality Improvements :

- Identify gaps in test coverage and recommend improvements.

- Contribute to process enhancements based on lessons learned.

Required Knowledge :

- Test automation tools and frameworks (Playwright, xUnit, Allure).

- Programming in C# and .NET.

- Manual testing techniques, test design, and defect management.

- SDLC, testing methodologies, and quality standards.

- Version control with Git and issue tracking with Jira.

Measures of Success :

- Timely completion of tasks and test coverage.

- Number of valid defects identified.

- Quality and completeness of test cases and scripts.

- Contribution to team knowledge and process improvements.
