Software Test Engineer - Ivalua

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Software Test Engineer with strong experience in Ivalua to ensure the quality and reliability of procurement and sourcing solutions.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating Ivalua implementations, integrations, and customizations, ensuring high-quality deliverables across the software lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Ivalua-based applications

- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing

- Validate end-to-end procurement workflows including sourcing, contracts, supplier management, and invoicing

- Work closely with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and define test strategies

- Test Ivalua configurations, custom workflows, and business rules

- Validate integrations between Ivalua and external systems such as ERP, finance, and third-party tools

- Identify, log, and track defects using test management and defect tracking tools

- Perform data validation and ensure data integrity across systems

- Participate in UAT support and ensure successful business sign-off

- Contribute to test automation initiatives where applicable

- Ensure compliance with QA standards and best practices

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- 5 to 10 years of experience in software testing with at least 23 years of hands-on experience in Ivalua

- Strong understanding of procurement and sourcing processes

- Experience in testing Ivalua modules such as Sourcing, Supplier Management, Contract Management, Procure-to-Pay (P2P)

- Expertise in manual testing with exposure to automation tools

- Experience in API and integration testing

- Knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend testing

- Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as JIRA or similar

- Understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) and defect life cycle

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium or similar

- Exposure to Agile or Scrum methodologies

- Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle

- Experience in performance or security testing is a plus
