Software Engineer - Ruby on Rails

Role : Sr Software Engineer ROR

Experience : 8-12 Years , Rel : 5+ years

Location : Hyderabad Hybrid FTE

Shift : 2PM to 11PM IST

Position Description :

- Develop and Maintain High quality web applications using Ruby on Rails framework.

- Collaborate with cross functional Teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to code standards.

- Troubleshoot and debug issues reported by Users or QA Team ensuring optimal application performance.

- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in Ruby on Rails development, contributing to architectural decisions and technical discussions.

Requirements :

- BE or Any masters in information technology or computer science.

- Proven experience as a Ruby on Rails Developer or similar role.

- Strong understanding of the Ruby programming language and the Rails framework.

- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQLite.

- Strong proficiency in Design patterns for scalable and maintainable code.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Solid understanding of software development principles and best practices.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Good to Have :

- Experience with AWS services, especially EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service), and infrastructure.

- Familiarity with PostgreSQL database management system.

- Knowledge of Python programming language.

- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker.

- Understanding of DevOps principles and practices.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.

- Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices.

- Experience with agile development methodologies.

- Contributions to open-source projects or participation in the Ruby on Rails community.
