Software Engineer - Node.js

Description :

- Develop, test, and maintain backend features using Node.js and NestJS

- Collaborate with senior engineers and product teams to understand requirements and deliver functional, scalable code

- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and services

- Assist in writing unit and integration tests for key functionalities

- Learn and apply best practices for code structure, performance, and security

- Participate in code reviews and actively seek feedback to improve your code quality

- Contribute to documentation and internal knowledge sharing

- Proactively identify bugs or performance bottlenecks and work on solutions

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience with Node.js in a production environment

- Some experience with NestJS or strong willingness to learn it quickly

- Good understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript and asynchronous programming

- Familiarity with building REST APIs and basic API security concepts (e.g., JWT, OAuth)

- Hands on experience with Relation databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL) or NoSQL (eg., MongoDB)

- Understanding of version control systems (Git) and working in an Agile environment

- Basic understanding of software testing (unit/integration) and debugging tools

- Strong willingness to learn and improve through mentorship and collaboration

Nice to Have :

- Exposure to NestJS framework

- Experience with Redis, message queues (like RabbitMQ or Kafka), or microservices

- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or deploying to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.)

- Knowledge of event-driven systems or background job processing
