Software Engineer - Node.js

Job Summary :

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and build RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.

- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

- Optimize applications for speed and scalability.

- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.

- Troubleshoot and debug applications.

- Work with databases like MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.

- Implement security and data protection practices.

- Participate in code reviews and agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, etc.

- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in backend development.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Experience with frameworks like Express.js, NestJS, or similar.

- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, React, Angular, etc.) is a plus.

- Experience with database systems like MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.

- Knowledge of RESTful APIs, authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT), and web security best practices.

- Understanding of asynchronous programming and its quirks.

- Familiarity with version control tools like Git.

- Experience with containerization (Docker) and cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.

- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
