Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and optimize networking software components, protocols, and systems.
- Build scalable and high-performance applications for data communication and network management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, system architects, and QA teams to deliver robust solutions.
- Develop and maintain APIs, libraries, and services related to networking functionality.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex network-related issues across distributed systems.
- Contribute to system architecture decisions and performance optimization strategies.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Stay updated with emerging networking technologies, tools, and industry trends.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, routing, switching).
- Experience with socket programming and network protocol development.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems and network stack internals.
- Knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, and distributed systems.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Exposure to network security concepts such as firewalls, VPNs, and encryption.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with performance tuning and system optimization.
- Knowledge of automation and scripting tools.
