Software Engineer - Java Technologies

Role : Software Engineer/Java Developer

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer Java Developer with strong expertise in Core Java (1.8), network programming (TCP/IP, Java NIO, Netty, Apache Mina), and enterprise application development.

The ideal candidate will have experience in byte-level data processing, Oracle SQL/PLSQL, and Spring Boot ecosystem, preferably in fintech, banking, or payment platforms such as Paytm or similar.

Key Responsibilities :

- Implement network communication protocols using TCP/IP, Java NIO, Netty, and Apache Mina.

- Perform byte manipulation for data encoding/decoding and protocol handling.

- Develop and optimize RESTful APIs for high throughput and low latency.

- Work with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL for database design, queries, and performance tuning.

- Build microservices and enterprise solutions using Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Integration.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.

- Ensure application performance, scalability, and security.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production and development environments.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Experience with TCP/IP networking, Java NIO, Netty, and Apache Mina.

- Proficiency in byte manipulation and low-level data processing.

- Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.

- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Integration.

- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Knowledge of message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).

- Familiarity with fintech, banking, or payments domain; experience with Paytm or similar is a plus This is not mandatory, while experience into same is good to have for the position.

- Experience with secure coding practices and PCI-DSS compliance in payment systems.
