Location : New Delhi (Jasola), India - Hybrid Mode

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled engineer with a passion for building scalable backend systems and implementing test automation. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-ownership environment and is eager to integrate AI tools like GitHub Copilot, OpenAI, and Cursor into modern development workflows.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and translate business/technical requirements

- Design, build, and test scalable backend systems using Java, Python, and Spring Boot

- Implement Shift Left testing using tools like Jest, JUnit, and Playwright

- Use AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and Prompt Engineering to enhance development workflows

- Stay up to date with GenAI trends and apply them to real-world use cases

- Take full ownership of development and testing tasks, working independently with a solution-oriented approach

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

- 4-6 years of hands-on experience in backend development and/or test automation

- Strong skills in Java (preferred) or Python, with solid object-oriented programming knowledge

- Experience with Spring Boot, Microservices, and messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ

- Proficiency in test automation using Jest, JUnit, or Playwright

- Familiarity with AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

- Hands-on use of AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, OpenAI, Cursor

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently

Good to Have :

- Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript

- Open-source contributions or AI-based side projects

- Knowledge of DevSecOps or data privacy frameworks
