About Aight :

Aight is India's control-layer AI gateway: We're building the infrastructure that lets Indian SMBs, agencies, and enterprises actually deploy AI in production-billed, governed, and compliant by default.

What you'll do :

- Own and extend the core LLM gateway (multi-tenant, multi-provider, OpenAI-compatible) FastAPI, Postgres, Cloud Run.

- Build and harden the metering and billing engine: usage tracking, INR rating, GST invoicing, per-tenant limits.

- Ship provider integrations (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Sarvam, ElevenLabs, etc.) and keep latency, failover, and routing tight.

- Stand up observability, rate limiting, and tenant isolation for a system real customers run workloads through.

- Work directly with the founder on architecture decisions and move fast from spec to production.

What we're looking for :

- 1+ years building backend systems in production; you've owned services end to end, not just shipped tickets.

- Strong Python (FastAPI or similar) and Postgres; comfortable with async, queues, and API design.

- Hands-on with GCP/Cloud Run (or equivalent), Docker, and CI/CD.

- You think about multi-tenancy, billing correctness, and edge cases without being told to.

- Bias to ship. Comfortable with ambiguity and a small team where you wear several hats.

Nice to have :

- Experience with LLM APIs, gateways, or inference infra.

- Payments, billing, or metering systems (Stripe/Razorpay-style).

- Familiarity with Indian compliance (GST, e-invoicing) or fintech plumbing.
