Software Engineer - Contract

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack solutions including frontend (Angular), backend (Python), and API development.

- Work independently to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, deliverables, and timelines.

- Utilize SQL, JSON, XML for data manipulation and integration.

- Work in Linux/Unix environments and leverage cloud infrastructure as required.

- Participate in client interactions, including presenting technical concepts and status updates.

- Ensure code quality through best practices, including automated testing, code reviews, and CI/CD.

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.

- Define and implement development standards, test strategies, and documentation practices.

- Assist in establishing key performance metrics and ensuring delivery meets organizational and client expectations.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Minimum 8+ years of hands-on experience in Core Python development.

- Strong expertise in Angular or similar frontend frameworks.

- Solid experience with Linux/Unix operating systems.

- Good working knowledge of cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Proficient in working with SQL, JSON, and XML.

- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).

- Demonstrated ability to handle client communication, presentations, and stakeholder management.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

- Proven experience in mentoring and guiding junior team members.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Prior experience in large-scale enterprise projects.

- Exposure to DevOps tools and CI/CD practices.

- Knowledge of RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
