The Opportunity :

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer - C++ Developer to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to contribute to the development, documentation, and testing of cutting-edge Mixed Reality (MR) and Virtual Reality (VR) applications, collaborating with global stakeholders in an Agile environment.

Role Description :

As a Software Engineer - C++ Developer, you will be a key contributor to the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance software solutions. You will leverage your expertise in C++ within a Linux environment, adhering to best practices in object-oriented programming and Agile methodologies.

This role requires a proactive approach, strong debugging skills, and a willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies.

Key Responsibilities :

- Software Development : Design, develop, and implement robust, efficient, and scalable software applications primarily using C++ in a Linux environment.

- MR/VR Application Development : Actively participate in the development, documentation, and testing of Mixed Reality (MR) and Virtual Reality (VR) applications.

- Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) : Apply strong proficiency in Object-Oriented Concepts (OOP) to create modular, maintainable, and extensible code.

- UML Modeling : Utilize Unified Modeling Language (UML) for designing and documenting software systems, enhancing clarity and communication within the team.

- Debugging & Optimization : Employ excellent debugging skills using tools like "gdb" to identify and resolve software defects and performance bottlenecks.

- Scripting : Develop and maintain scripts using Python and Shell Scripting to automate tasks, improve workflows, and support development processes.

- Version Control : Work effectively with version control systems (e.g., Mercurial, Gitlab) for code management, branching, and merging.

- Cross-functional Collaboration : Collaborate effectively with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams (including product owners, QA, and other developers) throughout the software development lifecycle.

- Agile Methodologies : Participate actively in Agile sprints, embracing iterative development, continuous integration, and frequent feedback.

- Documentation & Testing : Contribute to the creation of comprehensive technical documentation and participate in testing efforts to ensure software quality and reliability.

- Continuous Learning : Demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and evolving business needs.

- Debugging Tools : Excellent debugging skills with hands-on experience using tools like "gdb."

- Proficiency in Python and Shell Scripting.

- Version Control : Experience with version control systems such as Mercurial, Gitlab, or similar.

Good to Have Skills :

- Image Processing : Knowledge in Image Processing and Algorithms.

- DICOM Standards : Familiarity with DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) Standards.

Experience : 3.5+ years of relevant experience in software development.
