Software Engineer - API Integration

Responsibilities :

- Design and develop scalable, high-performance RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot

- Write clean and maintainable code with comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure correctness and reliability

- Create developer-friendly API documentation with clear endpoint descriptions, request/response examples for stakeholders, customers and partners

- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define API specifications

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues, implementing preventive measures with minimal disruption to clients

- Drive continuous improvement by identifying technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and opportunities to enhance system scalability and reliability

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to API services

Requirements :

- B. Tech. or MCA in Computer Science

- 5+ years of experience in core Java software development using Spring, with a proven track record of delivering quality products successfully and on time

- Strong Proficiency with Spring Boot, Spring Security, API design principles, JPA and SQL

- Proficiency in API documentation tools (Swagger/OpenAPI)

- Hands-on experience with AWS managed services such as DynamoDB, RDS, SQS, S3

- Experience in front end technologies like React, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap JQuery and JavaScript is a bonus

- Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to enhance development productivity, code quality, and documentation
