Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with 68 years of experience in automation testing. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Rest Assured, API automation, and test automation frameworks. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation solutions that ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for web and API testing.

- Develop and execute automated test scripts using Java and Rest Assured.

- Perform API validation, functional testing, regression testing, and integration testing.

- Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines.

- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.

- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution.

- Review requirements and provide feedback on testability and quality risks.

- Continuously improve automation frameworks, coding standards, and testing processes.

- Participate in code reviews and maintain high-quality automation code.

- Prepare and maintain test documentation, reports, and automation metrics.

Required Skills:

- 68 years of experience in Software Testing with significant experience in test automation.

- Strong programming skills in Java.

- Hands-on experience with Rest Assured for API automation testing.

- Experience with TestNG or JUnit.

- Strong understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, JSON, XML, and API validation.

- Experience with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.

- Experience with version control systems such as Git.

- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

- Knowledge of SQL and database testing.

- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, or TestRail.

- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with UI automation using Selenium WebDriver.

- Exposure to BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.

- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter is a plus.

- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
