Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain distributed, scalable, and high-availability platform systems for multi-tenant SaaS architectures.

- Lead end-to-end technical initiatives, unblock teams, and ensure delivery of high-quality solutions.

- Build microservices using Python and Elixir, implementing APIs (GraphQL, REST, gRPC) and backend logic.

- Develop React/TypeScript frontends and manage data with PostgreSQL, Redis, and cloud storage solutions.

- Implement observability, monitoring, and alerting using Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, and Sentry.

- Apply Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) for deployment and scaling.

- Collaborate with Product and Design teams to translate requirements into technical solutions with a product-oriented mindset.

- Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting best practices and elevating technical standards across the team.

- Anticipate and proactively address technical pitfalls, ensuring resilient, secure, and future-proof systems.

- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure mission-critical platform services remain operational and performant.

Skills & Qualifications :

- 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in platform system development and scaling.

- Strong expertise in cloud platforms (preferably GCP) and multi-tenant SaaS architectures.

- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Proficiency in microservices architecture, APIs (GraphQL, REST, gRPC), and backend development in Python and Elixir.

- Frontend development experience with React and TypeScript.

- Database and caching experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and messaging/pub-sub systems.

- Experience with observability tools (Cloud Logging, Monitoring, Sentry).

- Knowledge of platform domain services such as authentication, authorization, identity management, and multi-channel notifications.

- Strong technical leadership, mentoring, and collaborative skills.

- Track record of delivering scalable, resilient, and secure high-traffic systems.

- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and proactive design skills.
