Job Purpose :

Develop and maintain the backend services of Birla Pivot, ensuring their scalability, reliability, and seamless integration for all business operations.

What you do :

- Contribute to technical and integration design discussions and documentation.

- Deliver quality code that is clean, maintainable, and well-documented.

- Follow engineering best practices, with a focus on application security, performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Own deployment, rollout, maintenance, and support for the application.

- Stay up to date on emerging technologies and trends.

What were looking for :

- Strong proficiency in Java(8, 17, 21), and prior experience in Spring Boot.

- Strong hands-on experience with building complex business applications.

- Experience in digital commerce and the retail domain is preferred

- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

- Dexterity to quickly pick up and work on multiple languages and tech stacks.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

- Exposure to all aspects of the software lifecycle - requirements, solutioning, dev, QA, roll-out, and adoption

- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with other developers and stakeholders

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
