Software Development Engineer IV - Java

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performing applications using Java and related web technologies.

- Work with databases such as MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL systems.

- Develop and integrate RESTful services with a focus on concurrency and system efficiency.

- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code adhering to coding standards.

- Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to development best practices, and provide mentorship to junior developers.

- Develop scripts using Python, PHP, or other scripting languages for automation and system support.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

- Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle : design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- B.Tech degree (preferably from premier institutions).

- 6 - 9 years of experience as a Software Development Engineer.

- Strong programming expertise in Java and web technologies.

- Proficiency in working with databases : MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL.

- Experience in scripting languages like Python, PHP, etc.

- Hands-on experience in building asynchronous and RESTful systems with concurrency requirements.

- Solid understanding of software development best practices (coding standards, reviews, testing, CI/CD, deployments).

- Excellent problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and attention to detail.
