Responsibilities :

- System Design : Architecting petabyte-scale, high-performance data pipelines (Spark, Flink) or robust backend systems with strong NFRs (scalability, fault tolerance).

- Technical Leadership : Mentoring junior engineers, setting best practices, and leading complex projects end-to-end.

- Ownership : Taking full responsibility for services, driving technical roadmaps, and collaborating with product/business teams.

- Problem Solving : Tackling complex challenges in areas like information retrieval, machine learning, or e-commerce search.

Requirements :

- Experience : 6-9+ years in software development, with a strong track record of delivering enterprise-grade software.

- Programming : Expertise in Java, Python, Scala, C++, or similar.

- Technologies : Distributed systems, databases (SQL/NoSQL), streaming/batch processing (Spark), search tech (Elasticsearch), and cloud (GCP).

- Fundamentals : Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
