Software Development Engineer II - Java/Spring Boot

Responsibilities :

- Design and build scalable backend systems for Vances fintech products.

- Write clean, efficient, and secure code with high performance.

- Develop resilient, fault-tolerant systems to handle millions of transactions.

- Collaborate with product, frontend, and infrastructure teams for seamless delivery.

- Implement robust APIs, distributed systems, and database optimizations.

- Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and improve system reliability.

- Align engineering efforts with business priorities for fast execution.

- Own backend architecture to ensure modularity, scalability, and extensibility.

Requirements :

- 410 years of backend development experience (startup/fintech preferred).

- Strong skills in designing scalable, high-performing backend systems.

- Proven ability to write efficient, production-ready code.

- Comfortable balancing technical choices with business needs.

- Hands-on builder who thrives in early-stage, high-ownership environments.

- Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, Python, or Go (language-agnostic).

- Strong experience with RESTful APIs and microservices.
