Software Development Engineer II - Java/Spring Boot

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop backend applications using Java and Spring Boot frameworks.

- Design and maintain RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless integration with internal and third-party services.

- Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases to manage and access data efficiently.

- Deploy and manage applications in AWS cloud environments.

- Contribute to the design and implementation of a scalable microservices architecture.

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code with a strong focus on performance and reliability.

- Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.

Requirements :

- 3+ years of experience as a backend developer working with Java.

- Strong knowledge of Java 8+, Spring Boot, and REST API development.

- Experience with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).

- Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).

- Solid understanding of microservices, containerization (Docker), and CI/CD pipelines.

- Familiar with best practices in code quality, testing, and performance optimization.

- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.

- Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.

Nice to Have (Bonus Skills) :

- Experience with Kubernetes or other orchestration tools.

- Familiarity with event-driven architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ).

- Exposure to DevOps tools and practices.

- Experience in the fintech or banking domain.
