What Youll Do :

As a Java SDE-2, you'll be a core part of our backend engineering team, responsible for designing, developing, and scaling high-performance backend systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, build, and maintain scalable and performant backend systems using Java and Spring Boot

- Own end-to-end development of modules including system design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance

- Build microservices and RESTful APIs that are clean, efficient, and easy to maintain

- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and QA teams to ship new features

- Write unit and integration tests, and participate in code reviews and architecture discussions

- Monitor and optimize application performance

- Debug production issues and implement long-term solutions

- Stay current with evolving technologies and best practices

What Were Looking For :

Core Skills :

- Strong proficiency in Java (8 or higher) and deep understanding of OOP principles

- Solid experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Hibernate/Spring JDBC

- Strong grasp of REST APIs, Microservices architecture, and JDBC

- Experience with RDBMS like MySQL/PostgreSQL and caching tools like Redis

- Understanding of Kafka or other messaging/streaming platforms

- Good understanding of JVM internals, memory management, and performance tuning

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and build tools (Maven, Gradle)

- Familiarity with Git, and agile software development practices

Nice to Have :

- Experience in real-money gaming, ad tech, or high-scale B2C systems

- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

- Exposure to distributed systems and high-throughput architectures

You Should Have :

- 4+ years of hands-on experience in backend development with Java

- A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

- A problem-solving mindset with an ability to think critically and creatively

- Strong communication and collaboration skills
