Software Development Engineer II - Java

We are hiring an experienced SDE-II Backend Engineer to design, build, and scale high-performance, cloud-native backend systems. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, cloud technologies, and distributed systems. This is a hands-on role focused on end-to-end development, system optimization, and mentoring junior developers.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Architect and implement cloud-native solutions with high availability and resilience.

- Optimize backend systems for performance and scalability in distributed environments.

- Lead code reviews and provide technical mentorship to team members.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for feature delivery and system design.

- Own and drive development of core modules and services.

- Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies, CI/CD practices, and ensure application security and resiliency.

- Stay current with emerging technologies and integrate best practices into development.

Mandatory Skill Set :

Education : B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science from IIT/NIT/BITS/IIIT or similar tier-1 institutes.

- Experience : 6- 10 years of backend development experience.

- Languages & Frameworks : Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate.

- Databases : Proficient in MySQL (RDBMS) and familiarity with NoSQL (MongoDB).

- Messaging Systems : RabbitMQ, Kafka, or AWS SQS.

- Caching : Redis, Memcached.

- Cloud Platforms : Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Containers & Orchestration : Docker, Kubernetes.

- Architecture : Strong knowledge of scalable, distributed system design.

- Other : RESTful APIs, Microservices, Git, CI/CD, Agile methodology.
