Software Development Engineer II - Java

Job Description :

We are looking for a motivated and talented Entry-Level Software Engineer with a strong foundation in Java and Spring Framework. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with MySQL and MongoDB, along with exposure to containerised deployments.

Responsibilities :

- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions using Java and Spring Framework.

- Design and manage relational databases (MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).

- Contribute to containerised application development and deployment using tools like Docker or Kubernetes.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable and maintainable software systems.

- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting issues to ensure optimal performance.

- Stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices to improve the development process.

Requirements :

- Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Experience : Approximately 3+ years of professional experience in software development.

Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in Java and Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Data, etc. ).

- Hands-on experience with relational databases (MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).

- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Good to Have :

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Exposure to microservices architecture.
