As a backend developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining server-side logic, databases, and APIs that power our applications.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain backend systems, APIs, and services.

- Write clean, reusable, and efficient code using modern backend technologies.

- Optimise applications for maximum performance, scalability, and security.

- Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed.

- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging processes.

- Ensure data protection and security best practices.

- Maintain documentation and contribute to system architecture discussions.

Requirements :

- Experience: 3-6 years in backend development with strong exposure to building scalable, high-performance systems.

- Languages: Proficient in Java and/or Go for developing robust backend services.

- System Design: Hands-on experience in High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) of complex distributed systems.

- Architecture: Solid understanding of microservices architecture, asynchronous programming, and event-driven systems.

- APIs: Strong experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs, GRPC services, and ensuring API security best practices.

- Databases: Proficient with relational databases (e. g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and familiar with NoSQL databases (e. g., MongoDB, Redis) for high-performance data storage.

- Cloud Platforms: Exposure to cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is desirable.

- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot, optimise, and scale backend systems efficiently.

- Collaboration: Comfortable working in cross-functional teams, mentoring peers, and contributing to architectural discussions.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- Understanding of serverless architectures and GraphQL (nice to have).
