Software Developer (Laravel/PHP)

About the Role :

Key Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, define scope, and determine best practices for software development.

- Design, develop, test, and deploy robust, scalable, and secure web applications using PHP and related frameworks.

- Write "clean", well-designed, and maintainable code following industry best practices.

- Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges within existing and new systems.

- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from initial concept to deployment and ongoing support.

- Ensure the responsiveness and efficiency of applications.

- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge within the team.

- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and apply them to operations and

activities.

Qualifications & Experience :

Education : Any Graduation.

Experience : Minimum 1-3 years of hands-on experience in web application development.

Technical Skills :

- Proficient in PHP programming.

- Knowledge of PHP web frameworks, particularly Laravel, is highly preferred. Experience with CodeIgniter is a plus.

- Strong understanding of front-end technologies including JavaScript and AJAX.

- Solid understanding of object-oriented PHP programming principles.

- Previous experience creating scalable and high-performance applications.

- Exposure to code versioning tools such as Git (preferred), Mercurial, CVS, or SVN.

- Familiarity with SQL Databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) is a plus.

Soft Skills :

- Good logical and analytical skills.

- Strong technical aptitude and a good knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals.

- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
