About the Role :

We are looking for a skilled IBM BPM / BAW Software Developer with strong expertise in IBM Business Process Management (BPM) and Business Automation Workflow (BAW).

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and integrating enterprise workflow applications, along with strong knowledge of REST API integrations, Oracle databases, and business process orchestration.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable business process solutions, automate workflows, and deliver high-quality enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities (KRs) :

- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise workflow applications using IBM BPM 8.6 and IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW).

- Develop responsive user interfaces using the IBM BPM UI Framework.

- Design and implement business processes, human services, system services, and coaches.

- Integrate IBM BPM/BAW applications with external systems by consuming and exposing REST APIs.

- Develop and optimize integrations with Oracle RDBMS for process data management and transaction handling.

- Configure and implement complex process flows using events, gateways, timers, and exception handling.

- Integrate IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM) with BPM applications to implement business rules and decision services.

- Troubleshoot production issues, optimize application performance, and ensure system reliability.

- Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, QA teams, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver robust workflow solutions.

- Participate in code reviews, technical documentation, and best practice implementation.

- Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture standards, security guidelines, and software development lifecycle processes.

Must Have Skills :

- Strong experience with IBM BPM 8.6 UI Framework.

- Hands-on experience with IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW).

- Expertise in consuming REST APIs and integrating enterprise applications.

- Experience working with Oracle RDBMS and integrating Oracle databases with IBM BPM.

- Advanced understanding of Business Process Events, Gateways, Timers, and Workflow Orchestration.

- Experience integrating IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM) with IBM BPM.

- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Good to Have :

- Knowledge of SOAP Web Services.

- Experience with Java/J2EE development.

- Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and version control tools such as Git.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- IBM BPM/BAW certifications are an added advantage.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
