Responsibilities :

- Design and implement reliable, maintainable, and scalable software solutions.

- Contribute directly to production code while also providing architectural leadership.

- Translate complex business and domain requirements into clear technical designs.

- Apply Domain-Driven Design, CQRS, SOLID principles and established design patterns appropriately.

- Design and maintain REST APIs, message-driven workflows and service integrations.

- Build and support distributed processes using Azure Service Bus or comparable messaging technologies.

- Develop robust integrations with third-party APIs and external systems.

- Design efficient SQL Server data models, queries, and persistence strategies.

- Identify architectural risks, performance bottlenecks, and opportunities for simplification.

- Write meaningful unit and integration tests.

- Use mocking frameworks effectively without over-mocking or testing implementation details.

- Review code and provide thoughtful, actionable technical feedback.

- Help establish and maintain engineering standards and architectural direction.

- Mentor other developers, raise the overall technical capability of the team, and lead the team as it expands.

Requirements:

- Expert-level proficiency with C# and modern .NET.

- Strong experience with ASP.NET Core and REST API design.

- Hands-on experience with Domain-Driven Design.

- Strong understanding of CQRS and command/query handling patterns.

- Deep knowledge of SOLID principles, dependency injection, and common software design patterns.

- Experience designing and supporting distributed systems, microservices, or service-oriented architectures.

- Experience with asynchronous messaging and service bus technologies.

- Strong SQL Server and relational database knowledge, including:

1. Data modeling

2. Indexing

3. Query performance

4. Transactions & concurrency

5. Data integrity

- Entity Framework Core or a comparable ORM.

- Experience integrating with third-party APIs and services.

- Strong knowledge of unit testing, integration testing, and mocking frameworks such as Moq.

- Experience with a modern single-page application framework such as Vue.js, React or Angular.

- Ability to evaluate technical tradeoffs and explain recommendations clearly.

- Ability to independently take ownership of complex problems from design through production support.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
