About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Software Architect with a strong technical background and at least 5 years of proven experience in an Architect role.

The ideal candidate will drive end-to-end architectural design, ensure high-quality delivery, and provide technical leadership across multiple projects. This role is ideal for someone who excels in designing scalable, secure, and high-performing systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Own and define the overall technical architecture for complex software systems.

- Translate business requirements into scalable, robust, and maintainable architecture solutions.

- Lead design reviews, code walkthroughs, and ensure architectural alignment across teams.

- Collaborate with product managers, developers, DevOps, and other stakeholders to drive architectural decisions.

- Establish best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines.

- Evaluate emerging technologies and propose adoption where appropriate.

- Mentor engineering teams and provide strong technical leadership throughout the SDLC.

- Identify performance bottlenecks, design optimizations, and oversee implementation.

- Ensure system security, scalability, reliability, and high availability.

- Support project planning, estimations, and risk identification from an architectural standpoint.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 12+ years of total experience in software development.

- Minimum 5 years as a Software Architect driving system-level design.

- Mandatory B.Tech/B.E. from a recognized institution.

- Strong hands-on background in one or more of the following:

Backend Technologies :

- Java, Python, .NET, Node.js (depending on internal requirement)

Cloud Platforms :

- AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

- Microservices architecture and distributed systems

Databases :

- SQL & NoSQL technologies

Messaging systems :

- Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar

- Strong understanding of design patterns, data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented concepts.

- Expertise in API architecture, integration patterns, and security frameworks.

- Experience with CI/CD, containerization (Docker), and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).

- Excellent communication, documentation, and team leadership skills.

Good to Have :

- Exposure to architectural frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, etc.)

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

- Certification in cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP)
