Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Tricentis TOSCA automation and automation framework design. The candidate will be responsible for defining and executing automated testing strategies across web, API, backend and cloud-based applications while ensuring high-quality and reliable software releases.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Tricentis TOSCA.

- Develop and execute automated test cases for web, API and backend applications.

- Participate in automation strategy, test planning and framework architecture.

- Perform API testing, database validation, system testing and integration testing.

- Ensure application quality across AWS/Azure cloud environments.

- Create and maintain test plans, test cases and automation scripts.

- Track defects and testing progress using JIRA or similar tools.

- Perform root cause analysis for application defects and automation failures.

- Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD and DevOps pipelines.

- Collaborate closely with developers, product teams and other stakeholders in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote automation and testing best practices.

Mandatory Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience in Tricentis TOSCA Automation

- Automation framework design and architecture

- Strong understanding of STLC and software testing fundamentals

- API Testing

- Database Testing

- Agile/Scrum testing practices

- JIRA or similar test management tools

Good to Have :

- AWS or Azure cloud testing experience

- Selenium / Playwright or similar automation tools

- CI/CD and DevOps exposure

- Integration and system testing

- Automotive / Connected Device / IoT testing experience

Preferred Domain Experience :

- Candidates with exposure to Automotive, IoT, connected devices, vehicle software or device-to-cloud integrations will be preferred. The role may involve device-level validation in lab environments, telemetry validation and coordination with hardware/firmware teams when required.
