About the Role :
We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in the ServiceNow platform, strong hands-on development skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable, high-quality technical solutions. This role requires a combination of independent problem-solving, collaborative execution, and a passion for building high-performing enterprise workflows.
Role Overview :
As a Senior ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and customizing various modules on the ServiceNow platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and technical architects to deliver secure, scalable, and efficient solutions aligned with organizational needs.
Principal Responsibilities :
- Translate user stories and business requirements into functional, high-quality code on the ServiceNow (NOW) platform.
- Work on modules such as Source-to-Pay (S2P), HR Service Delivery (HRSD), and Field Service Operations (FSO).
- Configure and build both out-of-the-box and custom functionalities within the ServiceNow platform.
- Perform unit testing and write comprehensive test cases to ensure reliable code quality.
- Stay updated with emerging ServiceNow technologies, features, and best practices to maintain a competitive technical edge.
- Collaborate with technical teams during design discussions, integrations, and workflow implementations.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and continuous platform improvements.
Critical Skills & Qualifications :
- Total Experience : 7+ years, with at least 4+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development.
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant exposure to key ServiceNow modules and platform features.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, etc.), and workflow automation.
- Deep understanding of ServiceNow platform components including workflows, integrations, forms, tables, ACLs, and service catalogs.
- Experience across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Solid understanding of integration techniques, especially using REST APIs and IntegrationHub.
- Experience in portal development and customizing widget/UI components on Service Portal.
- Exposure to latest ServiceNow capabilities such as NowAssist (AI/automation features).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, with experience contributing to requirements gathering and client discussions.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics.
- ServiceNow Certifications such as :
- Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- Specialized module certifications (HRSD, ITSM, ITOM, etc.)
