As part of our growing ServiceNow Center of Excellence, we are looking for an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer who is passionate about creating impactful solutions through innovation, collaboration, and technical expertise.

About the Role :

The Senior ServiceNow Developer will play a key role in designing, developing, configuring, and customizing the ServiceNow platform to meet business and operational needs. You will collaborate closely with functional teams, business stakeholders, and architects to deliver scalable, high-performing ServiceNow solutions aligned with industry best practices.

This position is ideal for a developer who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex problems, and is eager to leverage their technical and analytical expertise in ServiceNow modules such as Source-to-Pay (S2P), HR Service Delivery (HRSD), and Field Service Operations (FSO).

Key Responsibilities :

ServiceNow Development & Configuration :

- Translate user stories and business requirements into functional, technical, and scalable solutions within the ServiceNow platform.

- Design, develop, and implement custom applications, workflows, scripts, and integrations.

- Configure and customize ServiceNow modules such as S2P, HRSD, and FSO (expertise in one or more modules is acceptable).

- Implement UI policies, UI actions, business rules, client scripts, and data policies to ensure seamless functionality.

- Perform unit testing and create detailed test cases to validate system functionality and performance.

Integration & Automation :

- Develop and maintain REST API and Integration Hub integrations with external systems.

- Implement automation solutions that streamline IT and business processes, improving efficiency and reducing manual effort.

- Ensure best practices for security, performance, and scalability in all integrations and developments.

Platform Maintenance & Enhancement :

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize existing ServiceNow implementations.

- Stay updated with ServiceNow releases and latest features to recommend enhancements that improve business outcomes.

- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and platform governance standards.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide expert technical recommendations.

- Participate in requirement-gathering sessions, solution design reviews, and sprint planning meetings.

- Document development activities, configurations, and customization for knowledge sharing and audit purposes.

Required Skills & Experience :

Technical Skills :

- 7+ years of overall software development experience, with at least 4+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development.

- Strong command of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and AngularJS for developing and customizing the ServiceNow UI.

- Proven experience in ServiceNow scripting, workflows, business rules, client scripts, and UI policies.

- Practical experience with ServiceNow Integration Hub, REST/SOAP APIs, and third-party integrations.

- Solid understanding of ServiceNow architecture, data models, and table structures.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, participating in sprint ceremonies and iterative deliveries.

- Exposure to NowAssist and other AI-powered ServiceNow capabilities is a plus.

Analytical & Functional Skills :

- Strong analytical mindset with an aptitude for understanding complex business processes and designing appropriate technical solutions.

- Experience in SDLC phases from requirement gathering to design, development, testing, and deployment.

- Ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently and provide effective long-term solutions.

- Excellent communication and documentation skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Performance Analytics and creating analytical dashboards in ServiceNow.

- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification.

- Exposure to portal development and custom widget creation using Service Portal.

- Familiarity with ITIL processes and ServiceNow best practices.

Educational Qualification :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Relevant certifications in ServiceNow platform development will be a strong advantage.
