Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer with over 5 years of experience in test automation, specifically using Java with Selenium, Appium for mobile automation, and API testing (REST/SOAP). You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust test automation frameworks across web, mobile, and API layers to ensure high-quality product releases.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java + Selenium + Appium.

- Develop and execute API test cases using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar.

- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure proper test coverage and product quality.

- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and detailed test reports.

- Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab or equivalent).

- Debug test failures, identify root causes, and log detailed bugs in issue tracking systems (e.g., JIRA).

- Perform regression, functional, and performance testing as required.

- Continuously improve automation frameworks for better scalability and maintainability.

- Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to QA best practices.

Required Skills :

- 5+ years of experience in QA Automation.

- Strong hands-on expertise in Selenium with Java.

- Experience in Mobile automation using Appium (Android and/or iOS).

- Solid understanding of API testing (manual and automated) using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.

- Strong knowledge of TestNG, Maven/Gradle, and Git.

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).

- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and documentation abilities.

Good to Have :

- Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber.

- Exposure to cloud-based mobile device platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).

- Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).

- ISTQB or other QA certifications.

Education :

- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
