Position : Senior QA Engineer API & AI Testing

Location : Pune

Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer with strong expertise in API Testing, Automation, and exposure to AI/ML model testing. The candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and automating test cases for APIs, microservices, and AI-driven applications. The role requires hands-on experience with Postman, REST Assured, Python/Selenium, and MLOps testing workflows.

Key Responsibilities :

API Testing :

- Design and execute test cases for REST/SOAP APIs.

- Perform functional, regression, performance, and security testing of APIs.

- Develop API automation scripts using Postman (Newman), REST Assured, Python, or Java.

- Validate request/response payloads, schemas, headers, and status codes.

- Work closely with backend teams to debug API failures.

AI / ML Testing :

- Validate AI/ML model outputs, accuracy, and performance metrics.

- Conduct data quality testing, bias testing, drift testing, and model explainability checks.

- Work with model pipelines, inference endpoints, and MLOps frameworks.

- Test AI features such as NLP, computer vision, classification, and prediction workflows.

- Ensure AI fairness, reliability, and reproducibility of results.

Automation Testing :

- Build and maintain automation frameworks for API & functional testing.

- Experience with tools like Selenium, PyTest, TestNG, or Robot Framework.

- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).

General QA Activities :

- Prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test plans.

- Perform root cause analysis and report defects.

- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and data scientists.

- Ensure high-quality releases through rigorous testing practices.
