Role Overview :

We are looking for a Red Hat Satellite Engineer with 4+ years of experience in enterprise patch management, Red Hat Satellite administration, and hybrid server environments. You will oversee server lifecycle management, vulnerability remediation, and automated package deployments across large-scale Linux and Windows systems.

Key Responsibilities :

Satellite Administration :

- Administer Red Hat Satellite, including content views, lifecycle environments, activation keys, provisioning, and repository/package management (RHEL/Alma).

Patch & Lifecycle Management :

- Manage enterprise patching, patch schedules, maintenance windows, and compliance reporting across thousands of servers.

Vulnerability Remediation :

- Drive vulnerability remediation efforts with a focus on maintaining zero vulnerability days through effective Satellite and patch management.

Hybrid Server Support :

- Perform OS-level troubleshooting and administration for Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) environments.

Automation & Change Control :

- Utilize PowerShell and Bash/Shell scripts for task automation while adhering to enterprise change-management standards.

Required Technical & Professional Skills :

Experience :

- 4+ years in enterprise infrastructure, patch management, and server lifecycle management across large-scale server environments.

Red Hat Satellite :

- In-depth experience managing Satellite infrastructure, content views, lifecycle environments, repositories, package synchronization, and provisioning.

Patch & Package Management:

- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft WSUS, SCCM (OS/app patching, compliance reporting), and Linux package management (RHEL, Alma).

OS & Directory Administration:

- Solid administration skills in RHEL/CentOS, Windows Server (2016-2022), and Active Directory/GPO management.

Scripting & Automation :

- Proficient in Bash/Shell and PowerShell scripting to automate routine administration and patching tasks.

Troubleshooting :

- Proven capability to perform OS-level troubleshooting and resolve repository/synchronization issues under enterprise change control.

Work Timings :

- Night Shift (5:00 PM - 2:00 AM IST) / US EST Primetime

Education :

- UG: Any Graduate

- PG: M. Tech in Any Specialization, MS/M. Sc(Science) in Any Specialization, MCA in Any Specialization, Any Postgraduate
