Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement robust SAS programs and solutions for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).

- Perform in-depth data analysis, sanity checking, validation, and manipulation of complex datasets using advanced DATA-step Programming, SAS Procedures, SAS Functions, and SAS/Macros.

- Develop and maintain various SAS reports to support business intelligence and decision-making.

- Manage and maintain SAS datasets, ensuring data integrity, quality, and adherence to data governance standards, including the use of Formats/Informats.

- Collaborate with business users, data architects, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective SAS solutions.

- Utilize SAS EG (Enterprise Guide) and SAS DI (Data Integration) Studio for efficient development and deployment of SAS processes.

- Contribute to and lead data migration projects, ensuring smooth and accurate data transitions.

- Support and enhance existing SAS applications and processes, identifying areas for optimization and improvement.

- Apply strong expertise in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence (BI) concepts to deliver comprehensive data solutions.

- Participate in code reviews and maintain documentation for all developed SAS programs and processes.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 6+ years of extensive experience in SAS development.

- Demonstrated proficiency in SAS EG (Enterprise Guide) and SAS DI (Data Integration) Studio.

- Expertise in SAS Coding, Reporting, Data Management, and Formats/Informats.

- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with core SAS products including SAS BASE, SAS MACROS, SAS SQL, and SAS STAT.

- Proven ability in analysis, sanity checking, validating, and manipulating complex data using DATA-step Programming, SAS Procedures, SAS Functions, and SAS/Macros.

- Strong expertise in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence (BI) principles and practices.

- Proficient in ETL Development.

- Prior experience working in the Banking Domain is essential.

- Experience with Migration Projects is required.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with Tableau is a plus.

- Willingness to learn and gain proficiency in Tableau if not already experienced.
